NOVELIST is the collaboration of American musicians Chase Middaugh and Ryan McMullen. The group was formed in late 2005 to explore sound through both composition and improvisation, drawing on a wide range of interests and experiences.
they have shared the stage with Kayo Dot, Circle, Gregor Samsa, The Psychic Paramount, Neptune, Rhys Chatham, and the Plotkin/Wyskida improvisational duo among others.
